Custom-Made Sisal Stair Runners Guaranteed for 10 years

Carpet runners are available in a number of styles and in one of 5 standard widths, or cut down to a custom width, and in any length up to 100 metres. Each runner comes complete with a non-slip latex backing and a 10-year guarantee.

We use only the highest quality, organic, East African sisal from sustainable sisal plantations that is naturally fire resistant, anti-static and hard-wearing. As such this material is ideal for high-traffic areas in both residential and commercial settings. All of our sisal stair runners are woven and hand-bound at our factory in Austria.

All of our standard width stair runners feature a selvedge on the sides of the runner which eliminates fraying and unravelling and so removes the need for a side binding. Please note that custom width runners will require a binding.

How to Design Your Stair Runner

Use the stair runner designer above to design your perfect sisal stair runner. Simply select your desired carpet and optional binding to preview your runner in a stair setting.

To check the price of your design enter the desired width, length, binding and Intec stainproofing options in the “Select Size” panel and press the “Calculate Price” button. Please note that this button will be disabled until the carpet dimensions are valid for your design.

If you specify a custom width the selvedge edge will be cut and side binding will be required to prevent subsequent fraying on the cut sides.

For the stair runner’s cut ends you have the option of adding a binding or finishing the end with a fold. If the end-finishing is to be with a fold you are advised to consult with your carpet fitter to add sufficient additional length to facilitate this fold.
